I'm getting in late to the theme of so will try to think of some of my more obscure favourite songs.

I'm wish more people knew about Kim Wilde's lesser known tracks like "Cambodia", "Water On Glass" and "Child Come Away" (linked). They might not be as appealing as titles like "Kids In America" but I enjoy them quite a lot and feel that they bring a slightly more thoughtful take to the New Wave sound.

I haven't seen anyone posting this for . The Passions with "I'm In Love With A German Film Star". It came up in Heardle 80s recently and I got it in one second 😇

I think my first girlfriend introduced me to Depeche Mode and I instantly loved them. "Dreaming Of Me" (linked) is still one of my favourite songs, along with "Just Can't Get Enough".

Would love to have these at my funeral along with the New Order song "Ceremony". Music that would have uplifted/calmed me.

I was too young to listen to New Wave music at the time but I feel like it influenced the music of a lot of my favourite games, so that when I started listening to actual New Wave music it had an instant nostalgia factor for me.
