What’s the “WireGuard” of time series databases?

@neauoire do you have feelings or opinions on ways of recording and using time series data that aren’t horrible?

@neauoire good question. Data like “the temperature of my lounge every minute for the last two years”.

@xssfox you know how WireGuard is like a relatively short, easily understood implementation that Just Solves the Problem without being a giant enterprise monster, and it’s quite nice to use and simple to troubleshoot and maintain? I want that for sticking my timeseries metrics in.
